What your child does
A word card appears with a picture, and the speaker reads it aloud. Three cauldrons show a group name and a little picture, so pre-readers can play. In the last level the card has no picture, so your child reads the word.
The skill it builds
Sorting words into categories. If an answer is off, the cat asks your child to think again, like "Is a broom something you can eat?"
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core L.1.5.A, L.2.5.A, L.K.5.A.
