What your child does
The cat asks for a number, like "Give the turkey 7 feathers!", with a big card showing the numeral and number word. Your child taps + feather to add, removes extras, then taps DONE. In the How Many? level the turkey already has feathers to count.
The skill it builds
Counting and building sets from 1 to 12. If an answer is off, the feathers get numbered so your child can count along, and the cat says whether the turkey needs more or fewer.
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5.
