What your child does
In the first levels your child counts a group of pictures and picks the matching number word. Teen Words and Big Numbers show a word like seventeen or fifty-seven and four numerals to choose from. The speaker reads the word aloud.
The skill it builds
Reading number words and matching them to numerals. If an answer is off, the cat reads the word that was picked and suggests counting again or reading the tens word first.
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core 2.NBT.A.3, K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5.
