Tap coins into the tray to make exactly $1.00, with star challenges like using no pennies.

Make a Dollar game cover: coin counting practice for Grades 1–2

What your child does

Your child taps coins to add them to a tray, aiming to make exactly $1.00. Tapping a coin in the tray takes it back out. If it isn't enough yet, the game says to keep adding coins; if it's too much, they try again.

The skill it builds

Making a dollar from coins builds counting money and adding coin values to 100 cents. Star challenges (use at least one quarter, use no pennies, or use only dimes and quarters) encourage different ways to reach the same amount.
