What your child does
Read & Match shows a word like cake, with a sparkly purple e, and three pictures. Add the Magic e? shows a picture and two words, like bik and bike. Long or Short? mixes silent e words with words like cat and bug.
The skill it builds
CVCe words and long vowel sounds. If an answer is off, the cat explains that the e is silent and makes the vowel say its name.
