What your child does
A picture appears with its word missing the first two letters, like _ _ og. Your child taps the blend that completes it. The speaker plays the word, and after a second try it sounds out the blend. The last level mixes L, R and S blends.
The skill it builds
Beginning consonant blends with L, R and S. If an answer is off, the cat asks your child to say the word slowly and listen for each sound in the blend.
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core RF.1.2.B, RF.1.2.C, RF.1.3.B.
