What your child does
A garden bed shows flowers in up to 5 rows and 5 columns. Your child answers "How many rows?" or "How many in each row?", then picks the matching addition sentence, like 4 + 4 + 4. In the last level they find the total, with row totals shown for skip counting.
The skill it builds
Arrays and repeated addition, which get kids ready for multiplication. If an answer is off, the cat highlights a row and reminds your child that rows go across.
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core 2.NBT.A.2, 2.OA.C.4.
