What your child does
Your child taps N, S, E or W to walk the cat one square at a time to a place on the map. Follow Directions reads directions like "Go 3 squares EAST, then 4 squares NORTH. Where are you?" Which Way? asks if one place is north, south, east or west of another.
The skill it builds
Map skills and cardinal directions: north is up, south is down, east is right and west is left. If an answer is off, the cat points back to the compass.
The game's listing notes align it to Common Core K.G.A.1.
